Mortgage US Calculator (referred to as "the Application", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Djava Media, is committed to safeguarding your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you download, install, or use the Mortgage US iOS mobile application and associated web portals (mortgage.djavamedia.com).

2. Information We Collect

a) Information You Enter

We do not require account registration, usernames, email addresses, or phone numbers to use the calculation suite. All data you enter—such as property purchase prices, loan terms, interest rates, property tax amounts, hazard insurance estimates, HOA assessments, and income numbers—is processed strictly locally on your iOS device.

b) Technical Device & Operational Telemetry

To diagnose software crashes, maintain iOS compatibility, and monitor overall app health, standard non-identifying telemetry may be collected:

• Device model (e.g. iPhone 15, iPad Pro) and iOS operating system version
• App version and build number
• Anonymous session metrics (e.g. crash stack traces, feature engagement rates)
• Coarse geographic location at country or city level derived from anonymized IP headers

3. Local-First Processing Architecture

Mortgage US: Loan Calculator is built from the ground up as a native Swift / SwiftUI application following local-first architectural paradigms:

• On-Device Mathematics: Standard US fixed-rate mortgage algorithms ($M = P \frac{r(1+r)^n}{(1+r)^n - 1}$), 360-month amortization tables, and DTI debt calculations run locally without network latency or server roundtrips.
• Offline Usability: You can calculate scenarios, explore overpayments, and review saved calculations without an active internet connection.
• Sandboxed Persistence: Scenarios you choose to save are stored exclusively in your device's local sandboxed storage via UserDefaults. You can delete all saved data at any time via Settings > Clear All Saved Scenarios.

4. Advertising & Google AdMob

The Application is supported in part by advertising revenue via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). AdMob may collect and process information as governed by Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT): In accordance with Apple's privacy guidelines, we request permission via the ATT prompt before any personalized advertising identifier (IDFA) is accessed. If you choose "Ask App not to Track", only contextual, non-personalized advertisements are displayed.

European Economic Area (EEA) & UK Consent (GDPR): For users residing in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, we implement Google's official User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent SDK. You can review, modify, or revoke your consent preferences at any time through the in-app Settings > Privacy & Legal > Privacy Options interface.

5. Apple Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy)

In strict compliance with Apple's iOS 17 & iOS 18 Privacy Manifest mandate, our application declares all Accessed API categories and reasons:

• NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults: Reason code CA92.1 — Used solely to persist user mortgage calculation preferences, input defaults, and saved scenarios locally on device.
• NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategorySystemBootTime: Reason code 35F9.1 — Used by the ad SDK for anti-fraud timing verification and performance metrics.
• NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryFileTimestamp: Reason code C617.1 — Used internally by sandbox file management for scenario caching.
• NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypeDeviceID: Used by Google AdMob for fraud prevention, ad attribution, and frequency capping.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR & CCPA

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Union under GDPR or California under CCPA/CPRA), you possess distinct privacy rights:

• Right of Access & Portability: Because we do not store your calculations on remote servers, your data is already 100% accessible on your local device.
• Right to Deletion: You can completely erase all saved calculations directly from the app via Settings > Clear All Saved Scenarios, or by deleting the app from your device.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data to third-party data brokers or mortgage lead generators.

7. Children's Online Privacy (COPPA)

Mortgage US Calculator is designed for prospective adult homebuyers, homeowners, real estate agents, and loan officers. It is not intended for or directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data Security & Sandbox Protection

We leverage Apple iOS's hardware-backed sandbox encryption to safeguard all local data files. No external party or unauthorized process can inspect your saved mortgage scenarios or financial parameters.

9. Modifications to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect evolving regulatory frameworks or app enhancements. Any modifications will be posted to this page with an updated "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of the Application signifies your agreement to any revisions.
